Service
smidgen.io provides APIs and adapters so publishers can charge for web content with USDC micropayments (x402). The service is provided “as is.” We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.
Accounts
You must be able to control the email or wallet you use to sign in. You are responsible for payout wallet accuracy and for securing Publisher and agent API keys. Do not share keys in public repos or chat logs.
WordPress plugin
The WordPress plugin is free software under GPLv2 or later. Using it with smidgen.io APIs requires a smidgen account and acceptance of these terms and our privacy policy. You remain responsible for your site’s content and for complying with applicable law (including consumer and payments rules in your jurisdiction).
Payments
smidgen does not custody USDC. On-chain settlement is final subject to network rules. Plan limits and pricing are described on /pricing.
Acceptable use
Do not use smidgen to scam users, launder funds, distribute malware, or violate sanctions or export laws. We may suspend accounts that abuse the API or harm the network.
